Update on my previous post : They cancelled the position after 3 rounds

Hiring manager cancelled the position after 3 rounds of interviews, giving me false hopes. They told me it was the last round and made me wait for a week just to tell they are hiring an internal candidate.

Terrible behaviour from them. But think of it as a silver lining. Better that they decide not to hire, rather than hire now and fire soon. Better things will come up. All the best.

Lol, this happens many times. I got rejected saying same once then two weeks later my friend got the call for same opportunity and they said the same to him
