55% of UP revenue comes from union govt and 20% comes from Up alcohol sales. If we can make UP atleast 20% more productive, India will be a super power or whatever trillion dollar economy we plan to be. Atleast Bihar, Bengal gives cheap labour to other states and Rajasthan gives crafts men to India, i dont know what UP ppl specialize in rather than defacing walls with paan stains and creating some employment for others. UP should be split into 4- 5 states as per their assembly resolution made during an ex cm time and let the development and productivity take over.
