Unsure on how to proceed with my career
Hi currently I work in a tech role at one of the consulting (MBB) firms. Previously I worked as a DS in a startup. Now I’m confused how to move forward with my career. Should I try to move into management consulting for more money and growth or should I try moving back to DS with some product company. End goal is just to make more money/grow faster. Exp: 2yrs Tc: ~19lpa MBA

Moving into management consulting will be very hard second option is way more better

But seeing current trends in AI I think the old DS role will have limited opportunities compared to guys working on genAI and stuff? And I’m not sure how to upskill based on the new trends
