Unprofessional behaviour by Infosys HR
Hi guys I had attended F2F interview for mainframe developer role in Infosys Blore office cleared all the rounds and I was offered 8.6 lpa for 4 years of work experience then i did get digi verification link on Friday i get call saying we can’t offer 8.6 we can go for 7.83 lpa then i get a call today that they can offer 7 lpa haven’t received offer letter after 1 week they are citing that your interview was average not that good Is this not a scam??? Anyone who attended 17th May F2F drive
Listen to mine then, I attended an interview virtually on May 2024, the interview went very great - I could feel that. But I didnt get any word from them for 5 months. And suddenly on Nov 2024 I got the call for a managerial round following up my tech round. I attended a f2f interview in hyderabad, which also went very well. Interviewer, herself told me that she is very happy with my profile and guaranteed that I would get a call. I'm happy, came back home and I got call from HR in 2 days confirming my offer and agreeing on 11.5 lpa. The next day, I got a pre background verification mails which I completed immediately and then I got into a one 2 one team meeting with HR for a formal meeting and screenshots to close the case. End of the call, she told that i would get the offer letter in the same week i.e., Dec 2nd week.
I waited and waited and waited, since i didn't get any call till Jan, and one day I got a mail saying that they regret to inform that they are not going forward with my profile.
I was confused, furious and emotional and tried to reach HR which I couldn't. With the other contact I have, the one who referred me, I got to know that there some technical/Ops issue because of which they couldnt approve my profile, on which they are working. And they might need another round of interview for formality. They closed my old profile and opened a new to avoid these Ops issue.
Its May 2025, exactly one year, and you know - not a single word from them.
Do you think I'll ever join Infosys ever in my life. NO, a BIG BIG NO.
What do you expect from a company who fires freshers after campus hiring?
Last year one junior associate from our team was getting 7LPA-digital.. he cleared all their interviews and finally he got 7.5 LPA offer.. that too after wait for 2 weeks..

Earlier Infosys was a brand but now it's garbage. I was in infy for 10 years and finally left. Don't go to infy you won't get anything. They will not give all packages and will increase the variable part of salary and while giving salary 60% only will give.
Pathetic. Useless company.

4 year exp guys getting 20-22lpa in firms like morgan stanley or jp morgan etc. Try better jobs since u r in blore and its a mine of jobs.
