CEO primary task is to safeguard shareholder interest. They don't get hired for their knowledge or communication skills. they get hired based on the trust the major shareholders have on him/her to safeguard their wealth/invested money. Workers are basically tools that they use to make money. Caring for them is not even in the top 100 of their priority list. Any CEO who says otherwise is lying. People who believe him/her is naive at best/stupid at worst.
