
Unpopular Opinion - WFO Compliance
The CEO who promised 25x25 WFH left the company. The current CEO prefers WFO. It is not news, they made it clear several times. Managers have been telling us for months that soon 5 days RTO is expected. DEAL WITH IT.
And most of us prefer WFH. I do it too. Some of us are still doing 3 days a week WFO.
But When we aren't listening to their new terms, do you think there will not be any consequences? They are running a business. They do what they want to ON THEIR TERMS.
There is no point whining about C or D band due to WFO compliance reasons.
I am critical to the project, i get appreciation How could they do this blah blah blah. None of it matters.
TCS has the leadership that doesnt even like simple disagreements. Such Ego. I am sure we all faced this even in manager levels.
I repeat.
When we arent listening to their new terms, do you think there will not be any consequences?
Either we stay and accept a company's terms or we leave and join a different company that suits us.
I know there are many exceptions like those who work without ODC, lack of seats, those who are in notice period. This is not about them.
TCS has its lame implementation of WFH/WFO without thinking. They want us to come to the office for cOlLaBoRaTiOn/cULtUrE but we are still doing screen shares for our teammate who live in a different state/city. That is indeed pathetic management by TCS.

I literally hate my management for asking to work from office for the work that can be done more productively by sitting at home. If they are going to give me low band just for RTO. I will delay my response time and productivity by half. And will tell them that's how it impacted me for working from office.
One can't just say CEO is lame whole management is stupid.... They are all old stupid people who already have salary in lakhs with their Wife and Kids with them . They have cars to drive to their workplace.. They won't understand the struggles of associates.😡😡😡

The current leadership in TCS is just another face to Dictators , they are direction less and actually want people to leave them and they don't care. They can get the job done by freshers. Sooner or later the clients of TCS have understood that this company is good for cheap labor

The problem is mostly because of freshers Who doesn't know office culture
If there is a call. , background noises will come
Sometimes you call them ,and the answer will be
I have come to home time no internet but they are doing wfh
I think this is the major reason they decided to bring everyone back
It is never about overworking
It is about people who misuse the scenario

Ha ha ha! That is one reason i agree.
I see some who is overworking in WFO. I also see some who are not available /less productive in WFO

Who will listen this ? CEO is lame
