Trending @Infosys; Unluckily I got allocated into the toxic project (client location). My manager makes a call daily and checks whether I am in office or WFH

If I mention I am doing WFH, he will scold continuously, he would not even listen to me. I tried not to attend his call but he called multiple times. If I block him, he would make a big scene out of it and he would inform it to someone higher How to handle this situation?
