Unexpectedly I got hike 6 times in TCS over the span of 3 years

Here what actually happened with me.

I started with 3.36 lpa nov 2020            got 13.6% as 1st anniversary with 5star rating and A band on Nov 2021 3.82 lpa

Regular March appraisal 2022 8.2% (5 star A band) 4+Lpa

2nd year anniversary (automatically)  7.8% 4.5+ Lpa Nov 2022            Cleared digital in Dec 2022 got 71.3% 7+Lpa Jan 2023            Regular March appraisal 6.2% (5 star B band) 8 + Lpa Mar 2023

See I am not saying this is well and good but it's somehow possible. Since as I can see in Nov 2020 I started 3.3 and in 2023 I am at 8+ it's as good as 30-40% if I would have jumped each year

I'll be going for innovator (prime) exam then I'll update this post

That's a very interesting topic. See in my case I have learned many course on cloud tech did hand-on labs but

to actually implement it in client project is something different you have liberty of doing certain things only ...

For gaining experience you have to do projects on your own

It depends on your grade and your business unit.

Basically for there are wings1, innovator(prime), wings2, and wings3 exams.

For wings1 - you need to crack 1 tech track & 1 non-tech track (it's for freshers till 3yrs of exp best of my knowledge)

So all the exams has monetary Benefits except wings3

You can mail to your HR for getting the SPOC person for wings and such exams.

After reading this kind of post. I am thinking. I wasted my 3 years because I am not aware about these exams and think like an annual bonus and all of this. But now I am on notice period. I regret why I didn't give this exam and am still waiting for the appraisal cycle 😔😔

Come on man there's never too late. All the best for future opportunities.

Secret talk : don't tell anyone🤫🤫You can apply for wings 2 (without giving wings1)

Digital is a very confusing process for me. Can anyone help me detailing the process. How this works and what all needs to do to achieve the digital.

And is it possible to get hikes by learning any new technology like Finance & Operations module in D365. As I'm ready with one such

No my friend!
It's going to be your personal skill advancement no monetary benefits from tcs.

Better to work hard in project such that when you try to leave they'll try to retain you with 30% less of current offer (e.g. if you got offer of 90% they'll try to retain you at 60%) Or jump

I'm for now, a 7 year experienced professional production support role and joined tcs in 2022 Apr. And still working for the same package without any hikes for whatsoever reasons, can I expect any hike possibly by Apr 2014
