Trending @Capgemini; Understanding hikes & ratings
Now that the dust has settled off (yes, no hikes if you didn't get the letter!), let's have a discussion to understand the hike structure. Please post yours in below format:
Hike: 12% Rating: Exceptional BU: FS Designation: Senior Consultant BTO: Compliant Mandatory trainings: Compliant
PS: Before you think 12% is a lot, I got a 1.5% hike last year!

Hike : 4%
Rating : 3
Designation: Senior Consultant
BU: FS
BTO:Non Compliant
Mandatory Trainings: Compliant

Did not get the letter assuming no hike
Bto & training compliant
Received award & really great feedback from onshore/offshore/manager
But look at me, I am so so done, worked my a** off & delivered multiple projects, proactively took & delivery quality work, for which my manager appreciated, they were in shock to know I didn't get any letter
I don't know man, why did I slough off to witness this, and I see people with poor rating also getting hike Last year, I was promoted, which came with extra extra responsibility but the hike was then 3% peanuts! Now this !!! I am so depressed & demotivated The recruiters when they hear the 90 day notice period, I don't hear back from them Also my current pay is much lower than market std so they can't say higher pay hence can't give a hike.

Focus more on preparing for interviews rather than your work. Usually some service based companies like Cognizant, TCS etc. give calls even for 90 day notice period. Just be patient until you get one offer in your hand, resign the next day, and keep appearing for interviews. Capgemini isn't the place for you mate! You deserver better

I resign first and take multiple offers and then I negotiate

Hike : 13.1 Rating : Exceeding BU : I&D Designation: Promoted to B2 from B1 Trainings : Compliant BTO : Compliant

Hi @Pikachhhu, my current grade is B1, got rating exceeding, almost same hike percentage as yours, I was expecting to get promoted to B2 but didn't receive any separate email. May I know when did you receive your promotion email and where is it mentioned in compensation letter? Please help me clear this confusion. Thank you in advance! 🙂

Hike: 9.4% Rating: Exceeding BU: DCX Designation: Senior Consultant BTO, Mandatory training: Compliant
Percentage is not good option to measure hike. It's differ based on your current package.

Well, it has to be percentage when you're comparing 1lakh people. And package depends on your experience+skill, so

Hike:10%
Rating:2
Designation:Senior Consultant
BU:PBS
BTO: Compliant
Mandatory Training:Compliant

Hike 2.5%
Rating: exceptional
BU: CCA
Designation: Promoted to B2 as well
BTO: not compliant
