I get where you’re coming from but finding candidates of such stature would be difficult when other companies are willing to pay much higher for the similar profile.
This guy used to be our VP when I was working at Unacademy. He have really bad temper issues! The entire business unit used to work day in and day out (even on weekends) I quit in 6 months and I think most of the toxic culture they had at Unacademy was starting from the upper level managers like him! Also salary offered is really less for a director level candidate imo
No wonder he is ex unacademy.
We are back to the days where employers have the bargaining power and are wielding it cruelly.
He can even get someone for 15L cash. At 25L, his person might not succeed on the job and will leave for better pay within a year.
