
Underpaid - need solution
Guys, is there any process or way to increase the package if one is extremely underpaid?

You really need to switch man asap. You put down papers and start looking outside, in this time you can get call from tcs hr n internal teams they ask you why resigning, than you can tell them you got offer of 50 to 60 percent hike or may be 100 percent, if you want to stay in tcs tell them to increase salary or match the offer else tell them I won't stay. I have also did same, I have resigned, hr called me for reason I told them I m underpaid, getting good offer outside so they saying we can increase your salary I told them to give in writing, so in your case also this can happen either go outside or stay here with increase salary but not with this peanuts.

Did HR ask you to give you documents to prove that you are getting better offers outside ?

Hr didn't asked my yet bcoz I tell them I m getting 80percent hike and I know they won't provide me anything close also, they are trying to retain me bcoz of my manager and my hard work in project for peanuts but I don't want to stay. Even if they ask me I can tell them it's confidential can't provide other companies offer letter and you don't even have to provide at time of switching. If I want I can provide them since I really got offer last week but not of 80 percent but don't want to give them any doc bcoz I don't to stay.

Bhai 13 saal se TCS me ho aaj ye baat pata chala tumko ki underpaid ho, bhai chai bechne waala tumse jyada kama rha hai, better hai kuch skills addon karo aur iss mahan company ko chod do nhi to tumhara parivar road pe aajayega agar aisa hi tcs me rhe tum.

Bhai 9 saal se ho ya 13 saal se that doesn't matter, matter ye karta h k underpaid Hain hum toh kuch toh action Lena padega chahe wo tcs se nikalna hi q na ho, nhi toh jaisa ki @DryIceO2 ne kaha bhooke rehne ki naubat aa sakti h Aaj j mehengai k zamane mein, so apni family k baare mein soch kar salary badhane ka dekho atleast 10 lpa k upar toh aa hi jao kaise bhi bro.

Yes, resign and change company. Otherwise the package won’t increase even if you work for a decade and that package will be less than market standards at that time.

But for every case hr will not match and in tcs hr will never ever match the CTC they will allow the people to leave they don't think that the employee is asset in my team many people are underpaid having 10+ yrs of experience and taking 10lpa ye to nainsafi hai, people are leaving TCS manager was asking to match the package, during notice hr will call for discussion and never ever get back because they don't want to stay good people in project. They want only money they don't want to make assets
