
Underpaid in B2 band as per Wipro standards| Advice needed on Hike vs. Exit
Joined Wipro 3 years ago as B2, moving from contract to direct payroll with a 9 LPA package. Since then, only a 5% hike despite ratings of 3,4 in the last two appraisals. Completed all MySkillz requirements for band change, but no update so far.
I have 8+ years of experience. In my previous project, I was told my name was nominated for promotion, but nothing happened. The project ended due to client budget issues, and I was moved to the bench. Later tagged some project which is remote job for 6+ months, I preferred remote jobs due to health reasons, but current project offers no technical learning or growth.
Moving back to the bench soon and need a reality check. considering current b2 package and feel stagnant. Should I push for max% hike during project discussions before tagging? Is it better to speak to HR directly, or is that a dead end? Or should I just stay in my current role, upskill with professional certs (AWS or AZ-done), and hunt externally? Concerned about the market since calls are low and most want immediate joiners. Thoughts🤔?
three years of good ratings and completed requirements got you a 5% hike and a broken promise. the company has been showing you its answer all along. you're not asking about a hike versus an exit; you're asking for permission to finally believe them.

Bro, Actually you are getting B1 package being B2 experience and being B2 with your experience should get minimum 18+ LPA. Wipro management here will keep you hanging with 'next cycle' fake promises that never materialize and they stop your growth. As per ur experience should be eligible for B3 level. Your ratings show you have the talent—take it to a firm that actually pays market rate. Exit is the only real increment you'll get.
