Trending @Accenture; Underpaid at accenture?

I am from non tech background BBA, I was hired for SASA role and was told work won't be technic al and stuff, later while joining they gave ASE role and later changed that after streme training to quality engineering associate and my package was 3.33 lpa, 3 in hand with pf deduction 21k month, most of my colleague were from btech and were given 4.5(3.83 in hand) for exact same work we both were doing. First year they got hike on their base and in hand salary was 32k around and mine was 25k after first year hike, after 2 years completion they will get 5.25 base and i will get 4.50 base , we all are doing same work then why they are getting more

I am from a B tech background, most of my seniors don't even know how to do the work that I am doing, still they are getting paid much more than me.

It's different if senior, role levels are different, obviously they have spent more time so they would have more salary, but in my case we joined same day and level is same still for doing exact same work they are having this differences

Oh mahn same. I joined last year with same 3lakhs package that too I did B.Voc in Information Technology. I'm doing more work than anyone in my team. But ASEs who joined after me are getting more salary than me. Similar bachelor's only. Even after completing one year, I didn't get shit. Just now I heard from my lead saying how I should learn more and all. I'm workiny 12 - 14hrs everyday and atleast 5 hrs on weekends. And for what I have no idea.

Every next hike cycle you will see this difference, I can feel you on work part , they just give appreciation and no hikes, also they kick you out before giving promotion giving tight budget reason. My only ask is don't pay us more atleast give equal standard package which everyone is getting for that work

Exactly. It's frustrating. Now had an argument with my lead. She wants me to sit in office for 9hrs and work it seems. And Accenture's working hours is 10hrs with 1 hr lunch break so I should work 9hrs continuously it seems. Gawd I wanna get out of this.

Offer letter varies.

  • If experienced, YOE & previous salary band matters.
  • If fresher, possibly technical background matters (as in your case). As well as tier of college matters (if oncampus)

Same ASE if they are from top tier they earn even more than what your colleagues are earning by doing same work. So it also depends on your college when you begin. After 2 years you can switch and then they won't judge you based on college.

Off Campus hire

Yes, since freshers don't have any prior experience hence they are evaluated based on their college even for off campus. Once you have experience no one will ask for which college.
