Sad. And just a month back the guy had released a video address to employees promising about great things ahead and not to get disheartened by zero hike!! If this news is real, imagine the mental state of the laid off employees, they would feel like, well you can guess it I hope.

Why is it so easy to just abuse the so called entrepreneurs who are smarter than you and have made more money than you at the expense of employees suffering. They are probably con artists but we are the art conossieurs who like to find out faults in their way of working while complaining about our jobs and being poor. Lol

Pretty decent chance that a merger with Aakash is actually on the table and this big trimming then would make sense for them. Most M&As usually come with significant role reductions specially wherever there are overlaps

Had interviewed for a senior business position. The arrogance and being proud of unnecessary hustle was a big time red flag. Glad didn't take the offer. 1/3rd layoffs is failure of product fit and business planning
