Ultimatix is now showing the number of hours in slot for the '2 Office'. Not sure what TCS is trying to achieve with this change.
We are not going to school or college to track hours we spent in office if that is the case how the hours of travel will be calculated to reach office.
There are too many non billable people on bench and within accounts. They can't legally remove them from tcs. So they are doing this non sense tactics to force people to resign.
Seems there is a scam happening in TCS but no one ready to make a statement about it from tata group as the profits were getting directed to group instead of keeping it in TCS. Seems new management is keeping its funds in same corporate instead of diversifying.
This is happening very legally. TCS is paying tata sons for places and many more legally. Then they diversify these funds in new business in other industries. TCS is a gold hatching hen for other Companies of TATA.
Yes, I'm not sure from next quarter onwards they will ask the employees to be in office for 9 hours on each day

There are many Indian companies where if you are even 1 minute late you have to pay penalty like half day leave or extra working hour etc. and all these are tracked digitally . This is happening for many years .

Well This Was Expected As The WFO Policy Released Last Year Already Mentioned 5 days & 9 Hours. I won't be surprised if they will do some cut off in this year's appraisals & promotions on these grounds or make it a base for next year.
I absolutely agree that this is their way to make good the mistake they made of pan India hiring during Covid gaining popularity stating while other companies are laying off during er are still hiring. As they don't prefer laying off they are implementing these stricter rules to harass and force people to resign.
Another step towards soft layoffs. Whatever happened to the 25-25 vision!? 😂
What's the point?
No personal life if this happens like this there is no break to corporate world.
