No direct onsite option. If it happens it will be very rare. Whichever UK project you try for, they would tell you to join offshore and prove yourself there first. If they are satisfied with you after being in the offshore UK project for some years, then if the visa eligibility criteria and other company policies allow for your profile and at the same time if client budget permits and an onsite position is available, then they would be ok to initiate your visa.
