Trying to figure out off-campus route, any insights from seniors or peers will help a lot

Hey everyone!

I’m a final-year Chemical Engineering undergrad at IIT Madras. My CG isn’t great, so on-campus placement options might be limited.

I’m really interested in exploring off-campus roles, especially in Full-Stack (majorly Front-End), Data Analyst, and Data Science domains. I’ve been building my skills in Python, React.js, and some databases, and I genuinely enjoy working on projects where I can turn data or code into something useful.

For those who’ve got off-campus jobs/placement, how did you start? Which platforms or communities worked best for you (LinkedIn, Wellfound, Internshala, or any hidden gems)?

I would love any guidance, stories, or even small tips from your experience.
