Trusted a recruiter and now I'm unemployed

I had an in-hand offer and was interviewing with this company. The recruiter assured me that my offer letter would be generated the same day as my joining date with the company i had offer. So, I took a chance and trusted the recruiter. Then they told me that there is something pending with US team. and After 1.5 week i got the rejection mail. This was after the HR round, I even sent my documents to them for offer generation. I need urgent help. Please DM/comment if your team if hiring for Data Engineer position.
