The situation is already terrible. TCS had the guts to do a press release about their layoffs. But all other IT Giants in India are silently laying off a lot of employees. If Trump's tariffs are targeted towards services being procured from the Indian IT space, it's going to be a bloodbath here in India.

Trump pagla gya hai. Save money for the future. Boycott American companies and products, Use Indian products and services as much as you can.

My thought on this would be.. If Trump gonna tariff Indian IT it would lead to a domino effect causing our service based industries to shift their mindset from service -> product based. The startup culture is already on boom. And btw real question is Can American Companies survive without Indian Brains??

As per my experience I worked in 3 different projects and in all 3 projects platform design and execution part is done by US/UK people only... once they done with that , they handover to Indian staff for support/maintaince ...

I agree with you, the mindset shift is probably the need right now. But for people who have worked for YEARS in IT, will not be getting opportunities in Product based companies very easily because they've mastered a very niche tech stack like Adobe, Salesforce etc. My main concern is what will happen to the masses across TCS, Wipro, Infosys and other conglomerates. They're already silently laying people off.
