Trending @Accenture; Trump administration terminated IT services contracts worth $5.1 billion with Accenture
Considering this latest news of today I personally don’t expect any hike or promotion for next 2-3 years in Accenture until Trump term as President. Very sad news for Accenture folks.

You are going to see layoffs very soon. My team is automating end to end process for delivery for what my expanded team does. Today we have created automation blueprint of what i do. Once its completed, i think I would be released. Our team has total of 96 people and once the automation is done, i think my team would be trimmed down to hardly 8-10 people at max. And i see this in next 4-5 months.

Are you working as SAP consultant?

I think people working on US government projects will going to have major impact even the layoffs, and rest will have less impact like may get less variable pay, delay in promotions, etc. Most importantly everyone will going to be impacted by this as it’s almost 7-10% revenue impact for the organisation.

Agree with you but at the same time UK revenue will go up and their focus will be on the UK & Europe for next 4 years

Yes and I hope no one loose their jobs. But still people might going face layoffs and get impacted by this as it takes time to finalise the deals. Temporary panic will be there for sure.

Is it true.? Then why we need to stay in Accenture..

It not only with Accenture , every vendor who had federal contract with US government department are affected. Deloitte already laid off the entire US department

Contact cancellation not only with Accenture it includes deloitte and other companies

Good question but not sure. You can see more PIP

Does this lead to layoffs?
