Honestly, many CEO don’t effing care. They know about issues, most of them do - it is about ROI, if they don’t value their employees this is their last item in the bucket to fix which they seldom come down to.

Most CEOs care about the top end and as long as it is under control it isn’t an issue - also CEOs increasingly are found to be aholes which makes them care little about the whole stuff altogether.
