Trending @Wipro; Wipro or IBM??
Getting an offer from IBM with good hike,, but still feel wipro is far more comfortable, reason is I live in electronic city but IBM is in manyata tech park which is 40 kms from my place,, does anyone know if IBM provides cab facilities from bcit or manyata?
I have faced this dilemma many times and rejected offers just because office is closeby. Not worth spending hours in traffic just for some extra money, unless the hike is really huge.
It’s 60%,, hike and money is not the problem, it’s about after joining comfort, howz work life balance therr?
60% without avenues to save tax will not be much (with our WBP there are many avenues to save tax). This is what I found when I got rival offers. I'm still in Wipro so don't know about IBM. I'm also happy in my comfort zone and don't want to spend my free time in traffic. Sometimes WLB is more important than money.
hey my vote is anyday wipro , job stability wise , for internal movement and learning, having said depends on the role you going ibm is good provided u have a good supporting team and senior roles are more stable .. if u have completed more than 5 years in wipro then go ahead
First of all it’s just 20 months in wipro and faced so ups and downs , I know stability matters but sitting ideal since last 6 months. Not in bench of course and manager is not allowing me to switch internally , best I can do is to switch but not sure if IBM has transport facilities
