Trending @Wipro; Will the take home salary decrease after getting promoted from B3 to C1? Any thoughts ?
Take home remains same or decrease based on QPLC. The fixed component decreases
Depends upon your variable pay percentage..how far you are from benchmark. Also tax slab whether it will change as per salary increment. However with these reasons you shouldn't stop yourself from promotions as it will help in getting more opportunities in future.. inside and outside both.

I heard due to increase in variable component . The net salary would br lower than the one you get at B3
Yes may be due to increase in Qlpc and other factors like MAS pf etc and also more components added for Furniture and equipment.
Take-home salary might decrease due to higher taxes, even if gross salary increases. Promotions often mean more CTC, but net pay can vary. Check with HR for details.
