Trending @Wipro; When PR Shines Brighter Than Employee Pockets.Wipro’s 41.97% Variable Pay: A Masterclass in Show-Off
Recently, Wipro announced the Q1 variable pay — just 41.97%. Not even 50%! Who is this even helping? And from where do they cut this amount? It’s taken from our own salary structure, yet they still don’t give us the actual amount they promise on paper. Then what’s the point of maintaining these flashy salary structures full of fake numbers? Just for show?
It’s really frustrating and disheartening. They boast in articles and press releases as if they’re doing something great for employees, but in reality, we’re not even getting half of what’s committed. It feels like a pure show-off for the outside world, while the people actually working hard inside are left with disappointment and broken promises, missing amounts, and employees left wondering why their CTC looks like a dream that never comes true.
So yes, congratulations on the great PR stunt. The rest of us will be here trying to figure out how to pay bills with 41.97% of what we were told we’d earn.

Although I understand the emotion and agree with it as we all have to go through this shit 42 percent bheek. It's not 42 percent of what we were told we'd earn. It's 42 percent of the maximum we were told we'd earn.
It's this fineprint that these organisations play with.
Not supporting but it's a known fact that they are not going to give 100 percent of variables.
The worse thing is all that philanthropy everywhere but your own employees are left wanting makes things so much worse.

The philanthropy is done by exploiting employees. Somebody should tell the chairman that "charity begins at home"

This is feel should b taken as a morcha as employee rights..... by each n every one otherwise talking here n getting satisfaction is of no point....

Wipro ia not a shit company. It's a bull shit company

Well said. Everyone knows about the current market, and they are taking advantage of it.
We did the same during the corona period by taking a 6× hike.

Sad thing is that when they do well also we never get 100%

They are deducting employee's VP which we earned by working hard. They are saving their taxes by earning tax credits for philanthropy. Why not help the employees' in need! Charity begins at home! The greedy management snatched money for themselves by deducting VP for lower bands.

They are motivating us for the job change 🥰

The only hike they are giving to new joiners is in terms of variable pay and that too is reduced here

Seems like they are declining VP every quarter now, last Q3-95.08%, Q4-73.1% and now Q1-41.97% ...possibly next quarter it will be 0-25%...

Who will raise this concern as no such union for emply
