Trending @Wipro; What to do when the manager missed the update night shift allowance on mytime?
So I had worked the night shift in the month of Jan and had reminded my manager to update the same on the portal. But she did not. So I have lost 3 days of allowance which is 1200 rupees, because of this legend's mistake and she doesn't have the slightest clue of what to do. I even asked to mark the night shift for other days that I was in day shift as night but no.
I had created a case in wiserve also but they have asked to get approval from Hr manager. Hr manager is saying don't involve me in this situation, contact your L2 and they will be able to sort things out.
What should be my next course of action? I hate the situation as I have worked and am not getting what I was promised because of someone else's incompetence. Even after multiple reminders!
Talk with your manager, inform them and loop everyone in a mail raising this concern. Include the ticket number as well. Loop your HR(mentioned in PSP) , senior manager and delivery manager as well if possible. Make sure that the mail is polite and does not look like a complaint.
This is the only option left for me. But the same thing was done by one of my teammates. Didn't make any difference. Neither Hr wants to get involved, nor our manager is taking responsibility for making things right.
