Trending @Wipro; What next... please help

I'm dealing with what feels like intense anxiety or maybe even depression, and I think I need to step away and fully focus on my mental health for a month or two.

I want to get proper treatment, but to do that, I’d likely have to quit. Is it a good idea? I'm worried that I might not be able to get a good job post break, due to little to no leverage.

What should I really do?

I took a 3 month break after leaving my last company. If you have the skills you can get another job easily. Though do have a emergency fund / backup plan for 6 months in case you don't get another job. In the current market I feel it's slightly risky to do this, can you take a long leave / sabbatical instead?

Hello buddy, thanks for expressing yourself here. It takes a lot of courage to do that. Things can look pretty overwhelming sometimes. Don't worry, remember that it's temporary and you will feel better again. Though you need to work consciously towards acknowledging and putting efforts in getting better.

Please search for your good local therapist, book an appointment, it's a start. They can make you feel untangled which helps you think straight. Try online if you can't access one physically. I myself go to therapy regardless of my mindset without a miss.

I understand when you are going through this phase, nothing makes sense nor anything makes you happy. Even the things you used to love. It's okay. Do what you can. It's as real as it can get, it's not just in your mind. Embrace it.
