Trending @Wipro; What is right time to switch????

I have joined wipro in May 2024. On papers it is 17months of experience but in reality I started working in project from June 2025, that to in a support project. So I have recently joined one course for upskilling myself. Will be Doing Certifications through them. And I'm planning to switch when my course gets complete (march end)

But some ppl are saying wait, don't switch wait till you have 3yoe, market condition is not that good enough etc etc. Once you have 3yoe you can ask for 30% hike at least.

But I can't work in this support project anymore. Plus we did not get hike this yr. So my package would be the same.

Can you please suggest, when should I switch?, after completion of my course only I'll start applying (that's what i have planned).

Should I wait till 3yrs or can I switch immediately after 2yoe. And what % in hike should i expect?

I have done two certifications planning to do 3rd certification this month. All high demand skills only. Having 2.5 years of experience but started applying jobs nobody even considering me due to notice period

You resigned already? Plus were you working in any project? If yes what were the skills?

Always think about switching when you are about to complete 2 years. So now is the right time for you. Regarding hike % it depends on your skillset, no number is high if you have the right skills.
