Trending @Wipro; What is PIP guyssss???

What PIP program is? I know its a performance Improvement plan, but what exactly company asks us to do during this? Has anyone been in PIP recently? What's the duration? Will company ask us to resign if we are in PIP??? And who will be assigned us during PIP? And on what basis it is cleared to them that we have improved our performance??

Please tell me. I'm fresher, currently having 15months of experience in wipro. Currently in a project since june. And its a support project. There are so many reasons because of which I want to get release from this project.

But my manager threatening me he will put me in PIP.

I'm confuse. I can't work in this project. So toxic environment. Please guide me

Welcome to corporate 101. You need to speak to your HR about the behavior of your manager. You can never be threatened. Ask HR thay you want to be released from the project. They can only put you on pip if you got a rating of 2 or less. You can also excelate the threats to your delivery manager is needed, but HR would be more helpful. Honestly if you have a 3 or above rating, your manager can't do shit.

As per my experience If you work harder for the project the Manager will give you PIP because he needs promotion so needs someone to put PIP. Chootiyaa lokh ....🤣😜😜😜😃😃😁😁😁😁 Advice Exit the company and go out same as me. HR and managers like coins 😁 don't trust my experience in same company,😆😅😅😂🤣

When did you resign? Bro i have less than 2yoe that to in a support project. How am I supposed to get job outside. Currently I'm studying. But it is not consistent because of shifts. I don't get much time. We work for at least 10hrs a day. My frd resigned in feb 2025. She had 3 yoe in developer role. Still she is facing to crack interviews. And it's not like she is having less knowledge, it is because recruiter wants emp with more than 3-4 yoe.

Dude, my advice for you would be To Wait for 3 more months.. i've heard post 18months you can ask for project release - and manager cant do nothing about it.. Also, if they raise concern- you raise grievance/ombudsment through HR. 3 more months*

I am in this project since june this yr. Now only i got fed up. And i have heard that in support project no 18mpnths policy is required. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong

It's part of Wipro Culture. Whenever you want to be released from a project, the manager will threaten with PIP. I faced the same. You threaten your manager that you will raise grievances against it and will fight for it. When I was released from my first project, I was given 2/5. Fought with everyone and it increases to 4/5. Ping me if you need any support.

I have 3 rating. But it is from my previous manager. Not from my current manager. & Sure, I'll call my hr on Monday.
