Trending @Wipro; WfO in Notice Period

I am serving notice period, but manger and HR asking me to report to office. If i deny to go will there be any consequences? Like my experience letter. I don't want to go office when I'm serving NP.

1 guy under me resigned last year and forget about WFO, he was not even online in Teams for full day. When I showed this to HR and asked to get him released asap, HR said they can't do anything unless he wants early release.

Yes, there is 1 clearance required from manager, but manager needs to have a very good reason to not give that. He can be questioned by HR why he is holding it back.

I resigned too a couple of days back and I haven't been to office since 20th March 2020. I will not be going to office during my notice period

Why you don't want to go to office ? Since offices are open and it is compulsory to go to office at least 3 days in week. I suggest , you are getting salary from Wipro so you need to follow the Wipro policies

I have actually resigned because it's not possible for me to do WFO. Family reasons.

Don’t go against them, Just do what they say, otherwise they will give negative feedback when you will join new organisation

Nothing will happen, they don't have any authority and your new organisation will never get these details.
