Dear folks,
I am a WILP Program Wase student at Wipro and have been working here for the past 3 years and 6 months. In the next 2 years, I will be completing my 5-year bond.
I wanted to understand whether we are eligible for gratuity upon completing the bond period. Does Wipro provide gratuity to employees under this program?
I would appreciate any insights or guidance from those who have experience with this.

No.. you won’t be… and it won’t be a 5 year bond as well. It will be completed by Nov. So after that it is not a conversion as they say verbally. It is more like a rehiring into a higher band.

Once your m.tech is complete then you will be eligible
For eg, if your m.tech completed in nov,2025
Then you will be employed from 1 dec, 2025 and you will be eligible from 1 Dec, 2025
No we don't get any gratuity as we're students to wipro, gratuity is only for regular employees. Infact once you complete your MTech program you will be offered a bonus based on your overall appraisal and you need to sign another bond of One year or leave the organisation of you're not interested to continue But however policies changes every year wait for it
