Yeah, he was highest paid CEO among our peers. Company definitely needs a Sikha type ceo. I don't have much hopes on Srini. Also long term damage already done with the $1.5 Billion white elephant of Capco.
The writing was on the wall. While our peers had Billion $ deals, we only had Billion $ acquisitions.
These CEOs are paid millions. If the company does well their salaries will increase multi fold we get the usual 3-6 percent. If they mess up we loose our increment and they still quit with heavy settlements. Wipro suffered under Abid and Thierry. Unless they learn to respect and retain talented/skilled professionals, be willing to share profits with the people who make it happen and appraisals are based on who deserves it, get rid of the stupid bell curve system and management productivity calculation formulas. Get back to basics.
