One of my friend is currently in bench and his LOP is going to start in Feb and has put resignation but the notice period end date is in April. As he has a offer in his hand he wanted early release which was rejected by HR. He has tried to talk to HR to accept it but they have denied it and asked him to serve 90 days notice period. Please provide suggestions what can be done to overcome this issue to join new company in time
Does he have offer in hand while accepting LOP? Even on 90th day of lop, he will get the mail that your lop got extended for 30 days. Act smarter and talk to hr who initiated the lop
Ask the hr who initiated LOP. Other HRs simply escape saying the rules
If the hr denied early release then they have to pay notice period money. Cant place him in LOP. As per my knowledge they are asking employees to resign before the start of LOP and paying them 3 months pay
