Trending @Wipro; Showcause notice
I got showcause notice mail for giving winner circle points to my wife who is also in wipro. I was not aware that this is not as per wipro code of conduct. Since we are regularly getting mail to appreciate your colleagues. I have done that. I am now worried about the consequences. Please guide me and suggest me what to do

First ready Wipro policy for WinCircle point, you'll definitely find some loopholes in it.
Then prepare some reasons highlighting you don't see your wife as a family member at Wipro place but more like a Wiproite whom I know, I know her hardwork and as a colleague I thought to give some appreciation since there is no direct conflict of Interest which can hampers Wipros potential business.
Then say, you got to know that your action is against a wipro policy and as a responsible wipro employee you believe you should correct it and now ask them to help you like if you take back the points is it ok, or is there any other alternative.
Show them you are genuine and out of innocence this thing happened which you're also want to correct.
If you want to get some more help, reach out to a manager whom you have good bonding, then reach out to an HR (not your assigned one) who knows you.
I'm sure they'll help you. No one will terminate you over such pitty issues. You have done any fraud with Wipro. It's just your earned wincircle points you gave to another wipro emoloyee.

Bro even I agree. I don't think you will be terminated for this. I would recommend just directly reaching out to Hr and mention that this is honest mistake.
You could have appreciated by giving badge which doesn't have winner circle points. My suggestion start looking for a job outside asap
The winner circle points will be credited to tour wife's account only if your manager approves. Then ask him why did he approve
Wipro only follow selected policies.
