Trending @Wipro; Return to office
Hi folks, Wipro is calling its associates back to office now and I am the person who has to work even 12-14 hours a day sometimes. It is difficult for me to commute to office and work due to that.
Even in the office premises Internet connectivity is not good nor we have seat allocated as project ODC is not there. What can be written in an exception email in this case?
They are very adamant about this, especially since other service-based companies have started calling employees back for hybrid or full-time office work. It's very difficult to get an exception. Many projects began during COVID, with associates spread across India. My situation is similar—I'm the only person from my project in my location, yet management is still asking me to come to the office. I don't think they're currently tracking office hours closely, so it might be best to come in for 3-4 hours and then finish the rest of the work from home. That's what I'm currently doing, as there aren't many other options. We're all in the same boat.

During covid, they have taken across the locations even if the odc is not present in your locations. Now they are asking to come to office and sit in common odc. You try asking release from the project, they will extend WFH for you if they really want you. If they don't give, take back the release last 5th day

Common ODCs are also closed now. They want managers to allocate permanent seats.

Even i don’t have ODC in my current location and if i bring issues like network connectivity then they say we can’t do anything as you are not working from ODC but you have to go office 3 days a week 😂

Same here. If we don’t go to office for a few weeks, what will happen. Can someone tell me if they r taking any actions for this.

Raise a ticket in wiserve citing the internet issue at office and make it official that working from office will deplete the customer experience

Yes it is true, i have to sit outside for 4hours then they allocate temporary seat and no internet
