Managers, How was the rating submission for Wipro. 3rd May was the last day. I rated my DR 4 and 5 but it was reduced saying need to meet the bell curve.. The employees worked over and above on weekends for an year.. However it was said that it is nothing extra..

I'm curious - do u consider yourself a genuine manager?

Yes, I do.. I tried my best.. The team trusted me and delivered.. But now I was not able to get them what they deserved.. My sorry and apologises will not help the colleagues.. The only thing that I could do was to let them work 8.5 hours and np more request to put extra hours. If anyone I doing on his own , it is fine but I will no more request or push them for more as I was not able to keep up my words. The team trusted me and expected from me.

I could not fight for the team, I tried my best looped in HR , Explained the team situation for rating them high.. But they said that in order to meet the bell curve, there should be 2 raters.. The team size of 30 was reduced to 20 with 5 new people and 10 open positions.. The team stumbled but delivered by putting extra... At the final day they talked about bell curve and reduced..
