Journey at Wipro..
After joining Wipro in mid sep 2021 I got to know that I am not eligible for yearly appraisal as my joining date was after 1st sep 2021. Though hiring HR mentioned for the hike just after 6 months..
Next, year 2022 i had to wait for an appraisal till Appraisal cycle closure which gets revised and in the year 2023 the company decided to provide Appraisal from Dec 2023.
In 2023, it was decided to provide appraisals to employees with longer tenure in Wipro.
Now in 2024, though i am eligible for promotions too but not sure when i will get some motivation from Wipro, losing hopes.
Being good in ratings and working day and night is not helping.. Sep 2021 till today..
If anyone has suggestions.. Please comment..

Wipro managers have no authority. Don’t expect anything from your manager in terms of pay raise. They would conveniently pass on the responsibility to HR, cite one policy or the other. The policy keeps changing every year and they will cite the latest version each time you ask. If not the policy, they will mention your performance. The truth is performance doesn’t get you any pay raise in Wipro.
Look for a foreign co. in India that would need your skills. Wipro is next level BS. it is a services trading co. Not some high tech Co. that their leaders like to portray.
Exactly the same happening with me. It's time to switch.

Discuss with your manager and inform him that you might look outside if you don't get hike. If he doesn't care then you got your reality check on where you stand in the project. There are people who get hike middle of the year also. All depends how critical your manager thinks you are.
Please switch! That's the only way
Same pinch. Please switch that's what I'm doing. They will just find out some reason for not giving hike or promotion.
You have to be really lucky with some extra push from your manager to get promotion here. Some of my peers having exact same joining date and rating got converted and mine was dropped
