Trending @Wipro; Power bi

Is choosing power bi as a career as a two year experienced guy from devops good, bcz I feel not into devops whereas dashboarding feels good to me given that I am learning sql as well to be a power bi developer along with doing some pretty power bi dashboards in my current project.

Will the Ctcs provided in this domain be competent (Current CTC 4 lpa in wipro expecting 8 ctc at least after 1 year of experience in power bi )

Switching from DevOps to Power BI? That's like trading a lion for a cat. Sure, it's less fierce, but also less powerful. You think SQL and pretty dashboards will give you a double salary? Dream on, my friend. You're in Wipro, not in a fairy tale. You want more money? Then show more skills. Power BI is a tool, not a magic wand. It won't multiply your salary by two. You're two years into your career and you're already bored? That's not a good sign. You need to find your passion, not just a bigger paycheck. And remember, "Zindagi bhar kaam karna hai, jaldi kya hai?" (What's the rush? You have to work all your life). Now, tell me, have you considered the long-term prospects of a career in Power BI?

😅that's really insightful,tks

The thing is I work with apm(Application performance monitoring)tools which is an integral part of devops not whole devops as a practice, and even there all that i did is dashboarding ... I learnt devops topics like kubernetes, terraform,AWS externally.
