I have been put under PIP purposely by my manager. I have 1 year old kid where I will have to take care alone as there is no one elder in the family. Inspite of all these challenges I gave my 100% efforts to the project.
I’m confused on my decision, whether to resign or to go on sabatical or project release. Please guide
PIP means manager is not willing to retain you in the current project. Try to clear the assigned tasks and pass the PIP. Wipro is doing this kind of things to get rid of resources. Look outside. Get a raise and switch as immediate joiner. I have seems multiple PIP cases in just 6 months of my wipro tenure. Planning to switch again and never come back.
My manager will not let me clear PIP also😃
If you are not under financial stress then I would suggest to take a sabbatical because since manager put you in PIP it means managing kid and office is not working out. Definitely I know that managing a kid without any help is not easy. We cannot control when the kid will cry or need us.

Take the company to the court it is a loop the company deliberately supports corruption via shrewd managers but when the case is put they come to compromise it is advisable only if you have strong proof and valid points or else compromise.
Its tough time to you bro but never give up and challane this situation which is not easy. Do not try to prove yourself as you already done. Search outside with full of enthusiasm. These managers jobs are only for cost of cutting. Its my opinion. Look yours choice.
