How do we find out if we are getting promoted this cycle or not. I am working in n+1 role in my current project for almost 8 to 9 months now.

I heard that if you get 3 rating it's 9months or if you get 4 or 5 it's just 6 months

How a rating can be related to months of experience you hold? Ratings depends on how well you have performed (according to manager)

My rating was 4 and had 11 month in current role, got rejected in last promotion cycle by saying that I should have completed 12 month. But it’s depends on process to process and requirements, best of luck to you!
