Trending @Wipro; No retention for C1 and above post resignation

I came to know yday that wipro will not retain C1 and above if one resigns. Even if you want to take back the resignation, it will not be considered. This is all from budget and revenue perspective. So please be cautious of you plan to be adventurous in market. Does anyone know any retentions recently for C1 and above ?

Where did you get this info? My colleague in C1 has been retained almost 3 times.

My colleague resigned with an offer in hand, but something went wrong and he wanted to revoke the resignation, but HR told him that C1 and above won't be retained.

Given the present scenario of most of the projects, they might replace C1s with B1/NGAs. My leadership team has already replaced a C1 and an onsite B3 with me, just been promoted to B2. They never have enough budget.

That's a different story. Our new CEO is in pressure to show revenue and margin growth and this is the quickest way to grab low hanging fruit. I wonder someone shall ask if you don't need C1 and above, why you have those bands in your organization at all !
