My L2 manager is not pushing the request for client approval to allow work from home (WFH) in our project. He believes that employees should work from the office to stay updated and enhance their skills. Could you please advise me on how to proceed further to request WFH for Noon and Night shifts.

How you applied the new hybrid Policy , I thought we can took any one approval either client or L2 Manager

Currently, we cannot proceed with client approval without the L2 manager’s consent. He is the one holding the process for now and has asked us to adhere to the 3-days hybrid WFO policy. It might be beneficial if HR could revisit and potentially reframe this policy by incorporating flexible WFH options, similar to what’s implemented in Temporary Remote Work Rewuest. Would appreciate any suggestions or support on this.

Send email to your Project Manager and keep HR in loop as well.
If that also doesn't work..please raise Ombuds request

What is this new hybrid policy? Can you brief?

Any shift that starts or ends between 8.30 pm and 5.00 am IST will get WFH exception getting pre approval from L2 manager/Client.
Fact: No manager will give approval for this policy.

My shift end at 8.30 pm , am i eligible to WFH ? My manger not sending request to ADH regarding this .. what should i do ?

Please escalate to the Delivery Manager if he is approving things solely based on the client's approval, assuming everything is fine.

Thanks for your comment. ADH is the one blocking this policy considering team will be stay updated only working in office. Any suggestions to get WFH exception will be greatly appreciated!

No other option change your project where manager is flexible and supportive
