Trending @Wipro; Need Advice on WFH Request

I’m considering requesting a work-from-home arrangement for few weeks due to a medical procedure. If you’ve gone through a similar process, I’d appreciate any tips or guidance on how to approach this with management.

There is a email from Satish R, Global Delivery Head about mandatory WFH , all waiver have been revoked effective immediately, leaves will be deducted for not coming to office.

It's very challenging to get approval from management. In my case, although our client and manager approved my request to work from home (WFH), Wipro's management team directly denied it.

Hello,

Dec 2023 to Jan 2024 , I was given permit to work from home. There's no objection at that time .

Now i guess ,You can submit a medical certificate to HR and you can take work from home with proper approval. They will definitely approve.

Not only medical certificate. They want report scan. Pharmacy bills also.

HR denied. Just got the response saying cannot take WFH request and have to follow hybrid policy.

I didn't travel for almost 3 months above due to travel restrictions as after hospitalisation I was given Dr certificate which I submitted and even few documents as I stay almost 45 kms away so had issues they didn't agree saying Wipro Dr's said only one month but as I had hospital medical certificate and treated from d hospital they didn't do much yes ofcourse WFH WAS ON REGULAR BASIS
