Trending @Wipro; My manager slapped me at the Wipro office. What should I do?
Last week, I came late to work and was completely drenched because it rained. We had a meeting early in the morning that I tried to take from my phone but I was not audible properly throughout. The client did not want to reschedule. I must say that I am pretty tall and healthy. I go to the gym and can bench press 20kgx12x3. I was working on my desk and she slapped me on my head. Obviously it hurt and I shouted in anger. She then shouted at me for being late to work. I complained to her manager about this behaviour. She said that she was just joking and didn't hit me at all. I asked to check the CCTVs but there is no bloody coverage. Why is it that she can get away with treating me like this? Is this because I am a guy? I am scared to create more fuss because I really need this job. Help me please.

Ohmbuds and Hr

Hello Buddy Build your personality in such a way that before someone enters your space they must think if we behave some unprofessional he will retaliate no one wants to slap lions but for dogs they will.. All the best

This is right. I set boundaries as soon as I joined Wipro. There was a senior Bengali HR woman who would take people for granted.

wahi utha ka patak dete.. tum kaise bardast kar liye gymer guy..

Complain to ombuds and head HR

This behavior is completely unacceptable. Report to HR Don't leave it.

Hire goons 😃😃

Bro she ought to be fired. Which office?

Bro go to your manager and say clearly that that behaviour was unacceptable you should not do that again to me. Usse khud samajh me aa jayegi
It happened to me also, some random person in my odc was copying my walking style, so I was about to raise psh on him but my manager said just give him last warning by confronting him and so I did it. he immediately felt guilty and said sorry to me now everything is fine
Sometimes people do such things in heat of the moment just do what I said it would be fine, all the best

Joke with her as well at same spot

If it was the way round, company would have fired you (or any guy who lifts hand on girl even in playful way). It's sad that she is getting away with it. Anyway since you need the job, better to move on from the incident
