Let's say I enrolled for parental insurance which has a lock-in period. Now, if I plan to quit the organisation in between this lock-in period, am I supposed to pay anything while leaving?

i had parental insurance and it was useless when i needed it so better look outside with niv bhupa or whatever better

What is lock in period?

It's the period that you give consent for. Let's say if the lock-in period is 3 years starting from the date of policy enrollment, then the policy enrolls itself automatically for those 3 years even if you don't enroll for it manually. You'll not be able to opt out of the insurance policy under any circumstances during the lock-in period.
