One of my colleagues has been on bench for the last 3 months. During this period, he hardly got any client interview calls Now, as his bench period ended, HR asked him to put in his resignation. He refused, and within a week, all his access (team account + Wipro account) got disabled from the backend without any formal communication. Has anyone faced a similar situation? What should be the next step ?

Can I know your friend from which band & which project worked earlier? HR gave any compensation to him?
Normally if HR asked resignation, HR will provide compensation also
