Trending @Wipro; Job switch journeys

Hi, I am applying for various positions in companies and also giving a few interviews. This was started close to 5 months back. I am starting to get demotivated looking at how slow the HR processes are and with it, all the nuances that come. HRs are unable to respond for over 5-6 weeks even after multiple follow ups. Some do not even respond back if we aren't selected. This leaves me question whether such companies are worth joining? I just want to know how is it for the others. Is this common or is there something more I can do to fast track. Suggestions are welcome!
