I’m not sure if this is true. I just heard this from someone. The recent SHL English test which they’re asking us to appear without fail is a medium to filter out candidates for layoffs. They’re giving everyone 3 chances to clear it, if they fail to do so, no one knows what are they going to do. May be layoff as they’re incompetent in basic English language.
If you see carefully, first they said they’ll put us in PIP if we can’t able to clear it. Now they’re saying there’s no PIP just some English proficiency classes. This doesn’t make any sense to me at all. Why would Wipro all of a sudden conducts English exam ? That-too irrespective of band, position, experience? Something’s definitely going on in the back. It’s better we stay cautious about this.
Buddy, I have duped my first attempt. No where in the mail it says anything about PiP. I have had a discussion with my higher management, nobody knew anything about it. But if you have any solid evidence about it, please do share
it was happening in everywhere in every company when employee was not performing well as per expectation … dont overthink too much if you are capable enough to survive anywhere in your domain then you are safe !!
First they will place you in LOP, anything can happen later
