Trending @Wipro; Is there a buyout option available if you don't want to serve the notice period in Wipro?

I guess no. You don't. I read a case today in grapevine itself where a Wiproite claimed, even though he was on the bench, the HR refused to release him.

This doesn't make any sense just wasting employees time and testing patience.

Exactly my point, Adding to what I said. That guy had 2 YOE in Wipro with 0 project experience. He was on the bench for the entire duration of 2 years. I don't understand why they are doing so.

Do you need to serve full 3 months notice period if you are on bench? Or you can get early release?

Speaking from experience nope, don't think they'll release any early than 3 months I resigned while in project, tried asking for early release and it was not like a month or something, it was just 4-5 days early still they refused
