You can submit tax proofs while filling the ITR in july and claim the refund.

You can getvthe refund while filing ITR. If you can't fill ITR,take help from CA or you can check on youtube how to file and get it done.

You still can claim refunds by filing ITR in the AY period of that FY. In case you want to go with new regime, then no proofs will be required, anything deducted extra in FY will automatically adjusted during ITR filing and refunded. Same will be refunded on submission of proofs if you want to choose old regime of taxation. The option to select new regime or old regime will be available while filing ITR which you can file either yourself or with the help of your CA.
