Trending @Wipro; I met someone who was on Bench for almost 2 years ðŸ˜
Was talking to them and apparently this is what happened.
Month 1 - Joined the org and went into training Month 3 - Training completed bench begins. Month 5 - First Project Interview Month 7 - They get a project and start receiving KT. Month 9 - Project Extension gets cancelled by client
Month 10 - On bench again Month 15 - Project Interview again Month 17 - Accepted in new project Month 18 - Payment delays from client end
Month 20 - Project is finalized and is about to start. Month 21 - Guy decides to resign after getting a new job knowing that this is bad for his career.
Has anyone heard of this happening?
Meanwhile me, worrying coz i didn't get any bench period. Trust me guys, for the first few months being in free pool seems nice/enjoyable, but after that it truely ruins everything.

Practice manager and he is not replying at all
If i try to contact talent acquisition hr they are telling that no openings in Java as of now.
I'm crossed almost 2.5 years in wipro and feels like my career is ruining ðŸ˜
It can happen with any one in some of the practices
No, because after coming 10 month on bench, wipro wont allow till next 5 month on bench(i.e. 15month).
Why they are doing this we can't take project himself if they didn't want to allocate then what I do
Find a job and they will release you ASAp
So they give salaried even for 2 years bench people?
